Aloe succotrina

An very attractive stemless aloe of upright glaucus blue-green leaves strikingly contrasted with white margins and soft white teeth. Tall spikes of bright red flowers borne in winter and early spring. The foliage develops a very distinctive purplish tinge as it ages, with mature plants being cluster-forming, growing to about 1m and forming dense groups in their natural habitat and landscape settings.
Tolerant of full sun and dry conditions and preferring a well drained site.
