Masses of large bright red flower spikes adorn this very attractive plant in winter to spring, contrasting its large rosettes of thick blue-green leaves. Forms a single or multi-stemmed plant from 1.5 to 4 metres tall, very effective for landscaping as a group planting or screen, or for planting in large containers. A very adaptable plant that flowers from a young age, tolerates dry and tough coastal conditions, and is relatively fast growing.
